Lets get some of the obvious ground rules set straight as it is always a hassle to explain them when everyone is chatting it up. That's another thing. Quake was not designed to be have MMORPG chat. When 10 people are talking, it's very hard to follow. Expessially when there's 5 different conversations going around. So when the match is about to start and someone wants to say something productive, say it. If you just hitting binds or flaming, STFU and keep that for when the match is being played. Ground Rules: - The matchups will be 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, etc only. There will be no 3v4s. If there aren't enough people to fill in 4 places, then make it a 3v3. - Any clan is allowed to switch up the players after each match. This helps make sure that everyone has a chance to play. - The Clan with the best out of 3 matches wins. This is nothing new. - Like Phenom and Mr.Green mentioned, only Clan members (in this case, SNS and Tu) can play in these games. - Each Clan gets to choose a map to play on. SNS' map gets played first then Tu's. Since this is officially the 2nd clan battle, SNS still gets to choose the tiebreaker map.

Er, if that were the case, then Clan TU would be the one still organizing the match. It doesn't matter to me though. I'll talk to the others.

Does it really matter who organizes the match? You set a date and play If it doesn't matter to you then why'd you even mention it? Obviously something about it matters to you because you wanted other people to know that it doesn't matter to you hehe rant rant rant

I want to repeat the request and proposal i made after the first war for arranging all future wars. One leader from each clan need to talk about the rules with each other in real time chat at least a week before the match. That leader will then make all the necessary arrangements with his clan members. This will work better than trying to sideswipe our leaders and getting our members to arrange anything with SNS directly; its just to complicated a process to be undertaken en masse, it requires delegation. So here is a quote from my initial request, with info on how best to reach the TU leaders, which I copy from www.quakeone.com/forums/showthread.php?p=16353#post16353:"We want to work to minimize the pregame conflict we had this time--this will eliminate the frustration of Sniper, me, Baker, Quad, and others. To that end, I am requesting that if SNS would like to challenge us in the future, please negotiate the terms at least a week in advance of the proposed date of the match with either Fuzznut, d'Rouen, or myself on either AOL Instant Messenger or ICQ. True we have our moderately popular forum at totallyuseless.proboards61.com/index.cgi, but not everyone checks every post every day, so we prefer live communication. Fuzznut's AIM name is Fuzznut5. My AIM is dirtyspik (my name is spike; people call me spik) and my email is spooker888@yahoo.com. d'Rouen's AIM is catspawtu, her ICQ is 121506513, her YIM is rouen_tu, and her MSN and email is drouen_tu@hotmail.com. More negotiation will bring more cooperation." snipes I appreciate what you're saying about babbling before a match, it was admittedly the biggest problem last time. But it will not happen if you negotiate with one of our leaders beforehand

Phenom was going to chat with Fuzznut about the game date. Also D and Fuzznut are rarely online.
