Thanks for your dedication Burnsy.
Somehow, this post evaded my attention. Anyway, here is my input about it. I hope you do not mind my sincere and constructive criticism. It is only for the purpose of making something which already it is good into something beyond awesome!
Actually, if it is not too much for you can you re-do this to match with my specifications, please! If not, I understand if you are occupied with something else... just saying.
This is how this video will truly represent me.
1. Paradise is spelled without the "$."
2. Proper punctuation, capitalization of sentences and no abbreviations - i.e. - can not, will not, etc..
3. I liked the text you wrote, I have no issue with that.
4. The first songs was bomb, the second sucked lol, no offense.
5. That dancing sequence was good for about 10 seconds, the rest was boring, lol.
Now the improvements.
You can keep that dance sequence for the above mentioned 10 seconds and instead of that sucky song, choose these 2 of my all time favorite EuroDance songs, in this order: Benassi Brothers - Every Single Day and DJ Bobo - Love Is All Around.
They should play for the remainder of the video.
Now, onto the footage.
Your video creation could not come at a better time! I am actually creating a Quake gameplay manual which will be placed at Shmack. This music video I think will greatly inspire and make a soul connection between the trainee and the illustrated concepts I am conveying into my teaching manual.
I have recorded some demos of myself. The most notable one is my warm-up sequence, which besides being very cool to watch it is also very beneficial to quickly progressing one's skill into all areas of gameplay. Along with that, I did some level navigation and trix videos -2 of them- and an actual gameplay video of me in action vs one player, then more joined in later. Your music video can greatly enhance the mood of this whole thing I am putting together.
You can watch all the footage and select the best moments you think appropriately of them all. Please include my warm-up sequence *first* after that text intro that you did of me, then proceed with the rest. I think that that dancing sequence should be last to conclude the video with something funny. No more then 10 seconds though, because too much of it it is boring, lol.
In one of the videos -for the map DM3- I pulled of this particular extremely hard stunt to do which is catapulting myself from the outside area's elevator up to that large window below where the pent. powerup rests.
I would greatly appreciate if you can do this for me. Since I am a total noob with video editing, lack the necessary tools, knowledge and I could never possibly do this and piece it together like you, and you are a versed genius as your video demonstrates.
Thanks a lot of this intial one anyway. If you have the necessary time, please consider my request.
Here are the necessary demo files:
1.
files.filefront.com/T1+WarmUpdem/;10893012;/fileinfo.html 2.
files.filefront.com/T2+ActualMatchdem/;10893013;/fileinfo.html3.
files.filefront.com/T3+DM3Trixdem/;10893014;/fileinfo.html4.
files.filefront.com/T4+DM6Trixdem/;10893015;/fileinfo.htmlOne last thing I might mention is that YouTube sucks due to its low quality vids. I know a little bit of video encoding to tell you that it is best to leave it MPEG for best video quality and the popular availability of the codecs for others to view.
Further, you can reduce the resolution of it to 320X240 for optimal play. The vid should be around 40MB. I can host it myself at FileFront.com which gives unlimited storage and then it can be downloaded onto the players' computer for viewing.
Sorry, with the shitty YouTube quality it is very difficult to see what is going on in the videos.
Regards and thanks again for the intial video dedication! XOXO.
