Hello again guys and girls, In case you weren't aware there is a Quake 1 Tournament planned for Saturday 30th August 2014. To avoid any confusion, let me say first that this is NOT the sequel to the recent FFA1RQ tournament. If we get some further interest from the good old RuneQuake players (Dee and EZ have already expressed an interest) then that event will be coming soon. This event is the 10th in a series of successful FFA tourney's aimed at providing a fun and friendly night's Quaking for players in both the USA and europe. As before, it will be played over 4 x 20 minute rounds on custom maps. To give as many people as possible a chance at being an LPB, 2 rounds will be played on the New York servers (newyork.quakeone.com) and 2 on the nice, fast Damage server in the UK (damage.quake1.net). More information can be found on the Bigfoot website (link) with a copy over on the Quakeone.com forum (link). Current signup sheet: 1. OMacKnight (UK) 2. HowHard 3. Arkon (Ita) 4. wicked_lord (USA) 5. Confuzed (Swe) 6. talisa (NL) So if you want to play remember to book your place ASAP. Happy Quaking Monty

I'd just like to say that for those that still drop by the site I wish you a very merry christmas (or happy holidays if you're in the USA) and a prosperous, Peaceful and happy new year.
Kind regards
Monty

I'm a terrible artist. I always leave it to those who can draw something other than stick men ;D

How about something humourous to lighten the mood? Disney Quake perhaps? or Your ideal player model? or A room or scene you would like to see in a Quake map? or an entire level? Just some ideas

Yeah it's gone kind of quiet lately . Quaddy, Fuzz, Paradise and myself are prolly the most active on the board but I did see Foq tonight, and if you're looking for some RQ to get your aim back in I'm sure Tia would play a game or two with you as long as you play nice I think Spooks is on vacation (still?) but he'd probably be another to test your metel against

Hehe yes the facial shading is especially good. Any biblical references are completely lost on me I'm affraid. However, it'd be interesting to see some Quake related items in your drawings. Maybe use part of a familiar level as a background? or maybe a drop in a subtle quad or 666 ring? Just some [hopefully] useful ideas Kind regards Monty

Thanks Tia. I like the fine detail the mapper has put in, it almost seems overkill for a quake map but good none the less I don't know about you but I don't think I would have the patience as most of the focus in my [humble] maps is on gameplay and tight action. Now if only there was a Quakeone version of that map Kind regards Monty
