Update: I guess he heard I was wonderin bout him, cuz he messaged me on quakeone.com. I also got an email reply: "hey spooks, i'm sorry to say i have...left quake for a while...my life just got real busy, i will miss you and all the other quakers(i added you on yahoo IM btw, add me!) www.theninja-rpg.com you can see me there, it's a cool ninja RPG site (join the silence village!)" sigh. Nothing makes me sadder than a fellow TU leaving the fold..... Good luck bro Gamefreak, if you ever read this. We will miss you and anxiously await your return to the world of Quake. You are irreplaceable-- spook, your fellow TU

Just letting the TUs know, the SNS forums have a lot of TU bashing from Canadian Sniper so if you happen to check it out be prepared to see a lot of insults to our clan from him. No offense Mindz, but I was really suprised at some of the things he said on the forums. i got the retaliation covered. Just point on over to totallyuseless.proboards61.com/index.cgi?board=suggestions&action=display&thread=1146762621oh and since snipez toggles everything else, i'm sure he'll toggle himself out of SNS soon!

eh. Say what you want about the firefox, but i'd like to suspend judgement on the issue of which is better--open source/non. To me, firefox feels a lot more professional than IE. i think some of the best apps are open source

I use firefox and have never gotten popups here--just using the popup protection built in to Firefox. It has TONS of nifty features that really enhance browsing; though I keep IE installed for the odd compatibility problem i come across about once a month. Homeland Security actually recommends you use Firefox. Try it, you wont go back

spook's 2 cents: for any clan colors to be taken seriously, we'd have to wear them in the game. I personally like to wear brown because you blend in so unfairly. And D wears purple and blue and looks spanking fantastic in it, doesnt feel right when she wears something else. HappyBunny wears the pinkish/salmoney color usually, but when i'm working together with him we both put on yellow so we can recognize each other. As for the others, they switch around. So, as you can see, there are some obstacles to clan colors, including the individualistic nature of the clan! the second generation of clan TU (the recent additions, that is) are mostly together because of personality rather than because we enjoy clan wars etc. Its a highly individualistic clan is what i want to say. When i think what an insane, motley crew we are, i just laugh my ass off and cant take anything seriously--we've got 2 twelve year olds, one a headstrong, aspiring admin and video game maniac who needs more attention, one an insanely nice and charming portuguese kid, we've got happy bunny who puts out fires for a living and doesnt take anything seriously, preferring to sit in 'bunny holes' all day making funny banter instead of chasing people, and we've got bunny's son too, named SonofFire; we've got digifunk, who is, as he says, 'just a peaceful funk', the sweetest and chillest guy out there, and a stock broker, then we've got fuzznut who regularly whacks himself on the head with big pieces of furniture inevitably leading to hospitalization, and is currently working to construct "a levee or something", he's not really sure; then we've got down to earth, moderate, pacifistic D, and her daughter Nikola whom i dont know well enough to characterize because she doesnt play too often, then we've got some few serious players who are pretty out of touch with the core members. and me, well i'm just crazy
