cool stuff guys! D i also play Tribes, fuzzmunch got me into it, so I can help you out too. To start with, i'd do the built in tutorials; they take about an hour and are very thorough (it is a very complicated game and there is much to learn). then we should all party on a server. btw D you should go on AIM more so we can arrange this stuff! =) snipes, cool pics. just dont get addicted =p oh and btw you can hotlink full size images from imageshack. they give you the address for the thumbnail, and like for example for your first one it was: img115.imageshack.us/img115/2654/wowscrnshot080207232735to4.th.jpgto display the full image, just take the .th off the end of it so it is .jpg.

i'll tip you off, at the risk of being an a-hole: harry is hermione's father, and tries to convert her to the dark side!!!

D, tribes is much more complicated than quake; its enjoyable but every new player has to go through long tutorials and much experimentation, it's definitely not a care free, happy-go-lucky game. try it, see how you like it! come on with me and fuzznut sometime. sorry to say i dont read that harry potter gibberish. there is this impulse in me to do the opposite of what everyone else is doing

So now we got fuzz, quad, and me playing Starsiege Tribes. For anyone interested, it's a high tech first person shooter with team fortress-like classes (sniper, scout, heavy weapons guy, engineer, etc), awesome multiperson vehicles (one ship carries up to 5 people, so you can have 1 person driving and 4 people firing, it rules), and customizable weapons. It's a lotta fun, and completely free!. There's some screenshots for those interested:

anyone playing Second Life? its a user-created virtual universe where you just explore other people's creations and meet people. it was inspired by the "metaverse" from Neal Stephenson's novel Snow Crash, a book i read over and over. It's a bit freaky and clearly addicting. There are tons of people running businesses in Second Life who are making real cash through it, its weird

lol monty. your honesty is inspiring. Quad, when you talked about Knights of the Old Republic the other day it inspired me to download it, so ive got it waiting to be played here, after i get through with battlefront 2, which is fun! I played through castlevania dawn of sorrow on my gameboy i think. that was an awesome series, too bad it crashed when they tried to take it 3-d!!

Hey all! Welcome to the new section. I want to hear a lot about single player games, either console (Nintendo, Sega, Playstation etc) or PC! I will post plenty of videos of me getting whooped on 00 Agent mode in Goldeneye on N64, and other stuff!
Right now i'll just tell what i've been playing lately: A lot of N64, mainly Goldeneye, Super Mario 64, Zelda 64 The Ocarina of Time (I'm stuck on the forest palace if anyone cares to help; i dont want to be completely cheap by looking up a walkthrough guide) Pilot Wings, Rogue Squadron; Ive got a bunch more awesome games lying around waiting to be rediscovered. On the original Nintendo Entertainment System ive been playing Mario 3 and California Games. On the PC i've been playing Battlefront, Quake 4, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, and of course always a little bit of Warcraft 3. anyone care to gossip about some of these?
