Addendum:
Oops, my bad. Apparently in Thrash Mode you can progress in level. I'm not sure what the point is in doing this since you can't save your game and you are in for a hell of a sit down if you're going to beat the game in one sitting.
Anyways I have to start all over since the save game battery went dead in my Saturn. But thats alright because even with its pixelated 90s bit mapped graphics its still one of the most fun racing games of all time. I still have a blast every time I play it. There's not many games I can say that for.

Back in the early 90s Ataris' last game console, the Atari Jaguar, had a hippie programmer working on it named Jeff Minter. He worked for such celebrities as Prince hooking up and orchestrating stage lighting effects for concerts and so forth.
His Virtual Light Machine for the Atari Jagur CD player was the first of its kind.
Afterwards Microsoft programmers asked him if they could use his concept for Windows Media Player.
His second generation VLM he programmed onto a small obscure system in the late 90s called the NUON.
His latest version of the VLM you can now see on the XBOX 360.
Without further adieu, here's a demonstration of the original Virtual Light Machine playing FUELS 'Hemorrhage' and MUSES 'Hysteria'.
CAUTION: DO NOT WATCH WHILE FRYING BALLS

I havent recieved it yet. It works via USB. Paradise if you get one for your PC, make sure you get one that works with LCD TVs etc. Those ones have sensors you have to put along the bottom and the sides of the monitor for it to detect the gun like the Wii's gun has. Something like this perhaps: www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-4m-49-en-70-16s7.htmlBut whatever you do, make sure your gun works with the newer TVs?Monitors before you buy it.
