I don't know how much truth there is in the following but when we last went over in florida we were warned about flashing our lights at other cars when driving. Over here that is commonly used to indicate that you are being polite and letting another driver out of a side street for example. However, we were told that in some areas that is a signal for gang members to initiate voilence, shootings, etc and some tourists had got hurt in the recent past. This could all be nonesense or exaggeration of course but I thought I ought to mention it before you go. Regards Monty

A similiar story goes a serial killer drives down the freeway with one light out intentionally. Whoever is unfortunate enough to flash him becomes his next victim.

Less than a week away! I'm very excited!
I've only got tomorrow left to work and then I'm off the rest of the week and next week. I've still gotta run by work to get my paycheck on Friday, but I plan to pick up my usual trip snacks and stuff for the road - usually involves beef jerky, pringles, and some candy.

With that much junk food inside you you'll be proclaiming that you are "the great Cornholio" by the time you arrive It would be good to see some of the piccies and even some more video of the place. Say hi to Florida for me. ;D Enjoy yourself KR's Monty

I ended up not taking as many pictures as I planned to, although my brother took some as well. I need to get those off of the CD they burned for us, but for now, here are some of the ones I took: At the Florida Welcome Center Sunset outside our condo The condo - our place is the top left. Just for Monty. Lisa was poking my stomach for some reason.... Heidi (My bro's wife) with an Egyptian dude. The Blues Brothers Me just outside the Lost Continent The Dorthy II prop from the movie Twister (outside the Twister ride) Tony and Heidi getting a picture with a baby dinosaur. A bad rainstorm we narrowly avoided on the way home. Hopefully I'll get those other pictures up soon so you can see them too.

Thanks Quaddy, it's looks like you had a nice time and the weather looked good in almost every shot. It's been a while since I've been and I was wondering if you could refresh my memory and tell what that large orange ball in the sky in picture 2 was . Coming from England we so rarely see it. ;D Oh and the Lisa thing - I think you've scored there Good to see you enjoyed it. Kind regards Monty
