Don't underestimate yourself. If you've already got Qrack, installed it and can connect and play online then you've done well. If you want to try increasing the graphical quality of qrack then go to Options > Video Options > Select High Quality> Esc > Esc , etc. There are other things you can do but this may improve things for you for a start. If you find your pc can't handle it then you can always select fast mode through the same process. Let me know if you need any further help

@cs: I'll see if I can persuade him @d: It's just a plain and simple Qrack client (didn't you install QRack?) with some of the graphics settings turned up for the purposes of making a vid. Unfortunately because I'm having to use a lower power substitute machine I can't actually play Quake with that level of detail Hopefully you might be a little more fortunate. One thing you can do to improve the look of the game is to install some nicer textures which the Quake engines use to render walls, floors, celings, etc. I can send you an example+instructions if it helps. Kind regards Monty

[wipes back a tear]...such demonstrations of affection from a man for his alledged son/daughter/goblin/Gremlin-Tasmanian devil lookalike are so rare. It's really quite touching.

*tosses a saucy grin@ Monty* I take it.. it was just a wee bit early to see this kind of thing going on in a new games area? You forget, I'm english and you can just imagine our dirty talk, so go ahead, feel free to talk about such unpleasantness on the unmentionables Kr's M

They have Weak and Helpless in that game too? So that's another game in which I can maintain my unbeatably low standards. At least I'm consistant Hi D, it's nice to be missed, I've been concentrating on getting the DMP server working but if I get a few mins I'll try and dl it. Hope everyone is ok Hugs Monty.

Hi Fuzz
I used to play UT (the original version) some time ago. What goodies has 2004 got in store?

Monty : [stands up tentatively and, with a fixed view of the floor says] Hello, my name is Monty and... TU : Go on.. It's okay... Monty: [starts shifting nervously from one foot to the other] ...and I've been playing blast billiards. TU: [shocked but starts clapping understandingly] Monty: I mean.. It's okay, I.. I.. can handle it. I could stop if I wanted to.... etc

Here here. have a great time D and I hope you get all that you deserve. Incidentally D's kind nature and welcoming approach was my main reason for joining TU and now she's brought me here she's left the party! Typical (jk)

Outcome: From what I understand, after the TU boys (Frenzy, Goblin, Fuzz and Foq) put in a valiant effort they lost 3 vs 0. Nice try guys. [Soiund of applause and much back patting] Looks like we might have to use our secret weapon of D and her carbon fibre, Titanium core fly flapper.

Phew I got the misapprehension that you were talking about leaving quake for a moment there. Where would we be without our Fuzznut - one of the linchpins of TU!
