Just out of interest, and I hope you don't mind me asking but how much are you paying for your villa while you are there? We are looking to arrange another trip (possibly Easter 2009) and will be looking at around £400 per week. That's in the region of $390 for a fairly roomy 2 bedroomed self catering Villa with double garage in Kissimee(sp?) about 15 mins from Disney. Are they screwing the gosh darned limeys or does that seem about right?
kind regards
Monty

Oh we're definately going to Universal - I was just remembering that we went to Disney World when I was really young. I know we're going to Island of Adventure though. I'll have to see about Coral Castle. I wonder if Tony's been there. Islands of adventure is adjacent to Universal. I'd probably try the Hulk Ride, the spiderman ride, the Shrek 4D show (universal) and the MIB (universal). I seem to recall a Trex/Lost world/[a href=" Jurassic park "]Jurassic park [/a]type ride which was also okay and I think at Universal. The last time we went you could buy at extra cost a 'fast pass' ticket that allows you to bypass a lot of the queuing. Strange that the Fast Pass system at disney was free although limited to 2 fast passes at any one time. At Disney you might consider the Tower of Terror, Aerosmith rollercoaster, Muppet 4d, Star Tours, The new mountain ride at animal kingdom, Lights Motors Action was okay although they didn't seem to get as close as the Parisienne drivers, Test track, Mission Space and the Back lot tour. As you can probably tell we're confirmed Disney junkies Hope this helps Monty

Hi Quaddy,
Ahhh Florida, one of my favourite places (well around Orlando and Daytona at least). I seem to recall D saying she knew Florida quite well some time ago so she might be able to give you some pointers. I also believe Leftism hails from Orlando (don't quote me, I could be wrong).
As long as you still have that little child inside you you should still enjoy Disney and Universal. We went there during Xmas 2006 (will return ASAP) and found that Disney was better value for money than Universal but there was plenty to do at each. If you're looking for 'adult' thrill rides then Disney may not be your best option. You might also consider some of the other attractions such as Wet n wild, Typhoon Lagoon, Sea World, etc
Hope this helps
Kr's

Hiya Spooky and Nut!! ...i've still got problems connecting to my quake and as soon as i can get it up and configured you'll find me as cannon fodder again ;D... Do you know if the problem is quake based or windows/connection based? If it's quake based you might consider using Bakers new version of Proquake. Version 3.99 claims to be " Immune to "Can't Connect To Server". For real. Never use -ip or fail to connect with DSL. " and after trying it last night I have to say it's VERY fluid and certainly made a noticeable difference to me without straying from the feel of the original quake. I hope this helps you got on to the servers (so someone else can take a turn at being obliterated by Spooks ;D) *hugs and kisses* for My Nut, Spooky, Rapt and Monty!! Ð' Awww shucks

You might be a TU if don't care to belong to a clan that accepts people like you as members Or you might be a TU if whilst on a tour of some far off climb you wake wake at the crack of dawn one morning, and shot an elephant in your pajamas. How he got into your pajamas we'll never know. You might be a TU if when you get a job as a radio announcer, and when you walk under a bridge... no one can hear you talk You might be a TU if you have some eyeglasses. and when walking down the street suddenly the prescription ran out. You might be a TU if you put instant coffee in a microwave oven and almost go back in time. You might be a TU if you were reading the dictionary and thought it was a poem about everything. You might be a TU if you wonder how much deeper the ocean would be if Sponges didn't live in it You might be TU if you have an existential map. It has 'You are here' written all over it. Kr's Monty

Instructions for a fun time on the freeway: 1. Tie balloons to your car 2. Drive like a bat out of hell 3. Watch the reaction of onlookers as they freak out.

Congratulations Nik, D and all. Hope it all went ok. My contribution is another little ditty that always makes me think of my kids and how precious and sadly short the time is that you can spend with them before they grow up. It's the words more than the visual element on this one. ClickKind regards Monty
